From their mark to yours to keep.
Choose a ring, add their mark, and approve a proof. A person checks every mark, and nothing is engraved until you say yes.
Five steps
Choose your ring
Six rings, from a fine band for two initials to a chunky signet for a fingerprint or their handwriting, in 18k gold PVD, stainless steel or black.
Add their mark
Upload a photo of a fingerprint, handwriting or a drawing, or type initials, a name or a date. Photos can be JPG, PNG or HEIC, up to 20 MB.
We check it by hand
A person looks at every mark. If a photo is too soft to engrave well, we tell you before we touch the metal.
Approve your proof
We send you a proof of exactly what we’ll engrave. Ask for a change and we send a new one. Nothing is engraved until you say yes.
We engrave and post
Made to order in Australia, then posted to you from South Australia. Free post comes in a LoveStamp gift pouch, and tracked post in a gift box, inside a plain mailer with no branding outside.
Your proof within 1 business day of receiving your mark. Posted within 3 business days of your yes.
What makes a good photo
Daylight, a steady hand, and the mark filling the frame. Our photo guides show how for each kind of mark.
What if my photo isn’t good enough?
We tell you. If the lines are too soft or too faint to engrave well, we say why and ask for another photo before anything is made. We never guess at lines that aren’t there.
Can I send it later?
Your piece is saved in this browser as you go. A private window, or a long gap between visits, can clear it, so if you’ll be a while, email us the photo at hello@lovestamp.com.au. If a photo won’t upload, send it the same way and we’ll help.
Roman numeral codes
A code only the two of you can read. Our free cipher tool turns each letter into its place in the alphabet, in Roman numerals: ACE becomes I . III . V. Type the code in as your words. Each ring has a letter limit, so short names fit most easily.
