Handwriting rings

A handwriting ring carries their own words, exactly as they wrote them. Take a photo of a note, a card or a letter, choose the words you’d like, and you see the exact design we engrave before you order. You never need to post us the original. The Cartouche and Crest take handwriting, from $79.

Questions

What if my photo isn’t good enough?

You’ll see it in the preview. It shows the lines we’ll engrave from your photo, and lines too fine to engrave show faded. If they look faint or broken, try a sharper photo in daylight. We never guess at lines that aren’t there.

Can you work from an old or faded photo?

Often, yes. Upload it and look closely at the preview: it shows the lines we’ll engrave, and lines too faint to engrave show faded. If it doesn’t look right, a sharper photo or a scan may help, and you’re always welcome to email us at hello@lovestamp.au first.

Do I need to send the original note?

No. A clear photo is all we need, so the original stays with you.

What files can I upload?

JPG, PNG or HEIC (the iPhone default), up to 20 MB each.

What happens to my photo?

We keep your original untouched and use it to make and post your piece. We never sell it. We delete it 90 days after delivery, unless you ask us to keep it for reorders. The privacy page has the detail.

Will I see it before it’s engraved?

Yes, in the preview as you design it. The design you see in the preview is exactly what we engrave: the ring, the finish, the size and every mark, placed and sized as shown. Take your time with it. The engraving’s tone and shine on the metal look a little different in real life than on a screen. Want it plain? Every ring can be bought blank, at the same price.
