How do I measure my ring size at home?

Short answer

Our rings come in whole US sizes, from US 4 to 15 depending on the ring, and the Toi et Moi adjusts. Measure across the inside of a ring that already fits, or around your finger with a strip of paper, and match it to the table below. If you’re between sizes, choose the larger.

With a ring that fits

Choose a ring you wear on the same finger.
Lay it on a ruler and measure straight across the inside, edge to edge, in millimetres.
Find the closest inside diameter in the table.

With a strip of paper

Cut a thin strip of paper.
Wrap it around the base of your finger, snug but not tight, and mark where it overlaps.
Measure the length to the mark in millimetres, and find the closest size in the table.
Check the size would still slide over your knuckle.

Which sizes each ring comes in

The Crest: US 4 to 15.
The Ingot and the Medallion: US 4 to 14.
The Cartouche: US 7 to 12.
The Navette: US 8 to 10.
The Toi et Moi adjusts: it sits at about US 7 and opens gently to about US 10 to 11.

Getting it right

Measure at the end of the day, when fingers are a little larger, and not when your hands are cold.
If your knuckle is much wider than the base of your finger, size for the knuckle.
Wide signets, the Crest and the Cartouche, fit snugger. If you’re between sizes, go up.
Ordered the wrong size? If we haven’t started engraving yet, we can change it at no extra cost.
